The Conference Board Moved July After We Scored It. 99.5 Became 99.6.
Our 18 September read had July's leading index at 99.5. The August release has it at 99.6 — and without that tenth, August's −0.1% does not arrive at 99.5. The revision is load-bearing, the publisher's topic page never mentions it, and today's activity index has two consensus figures and a prior that revises.

Your Calendar Had Goolsbee an Hour Early Because It Read a Central Clock as Eastern
The Chicago Fed publishes two of today's three American events in Central Time. One widely-read Monday round-up stamped both of them Eastern — and both arrived in your schedule exactly sixty minutes early. The Treasury bill auctions on the same page are correct, which is the control.
